DES-F1010P-E is a 10 port 100Mbps with 8 10/100 Mbps PoE ports, 2 10/l00Mbps uplink ports. This Switch enables users to easily connect and supply power to PoE-capable devices such as wireless Access Points (APs), IP cameras.

DES-F1010P-E is actually a 10-port PoE switch with 8 long reach 250m PoE ports and 2 uplink ports, produced by D-Link, a networking equipment manufacturer. As the name suggests, this switch is designed to provide power over Ethernet to connected devices, such as IP cameras or wireless access points, without the need for a separate power supply. The D- Link switch is also equipped with 8 PoE ports that support long reach technology, which allows for data transmission and power delivery over Ethernet cables up to 250 meters in length, without the need for additional repeaters or extenders. This feature makes the DES-F1010P-E ideal for use in large buildings or outdoor environments where long cable runs are required. In addition, the switch has 2 uplink ports that can be used to connect to a larger network or to provide redundancy. The switch also supports various features such as VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), and port mirroring.

The DES-Fl010P-E supports both IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af PoE protocol. With a total PoE budget of 96 watts , allowing users to attach an IEEE 802.3af-compliant device to the DES-Fl010P-E without requiring additional power. PoE is especially suitable for devices that are far from power outlets or when users want to minimize the clutter of extra cables as power is supplied via the Ethernet cables themselves.
